With a large volume of well water?

Bleach would be easiest.

You could boil it in batches.

But probably the best thing to do would be to buy a good filter.

I have a 50 gallon food grade barrle that I'm going to use for water storage. Any idea about how to go about purifying that water since it is such a large amount? I also have a 15 gallon one to.

I wouldn't worry about purifying that much water at once. I would purify it as needed. I might give it a good dose of bleach at the beginning to try and kill any algae and other things that might be trying to get started.
