We wonder about PETA or similars around here also. Our friend has a camera in Nature Conservancy land that borders our farm. Lots of photos of hikers in blaze orange but no weapons. So possibly they're just hikers, or possibly they're the people stealing/wrecking tree stands.

I think FC is referring to the other PITAs... as in the Pain In The Ash kind

The more no trespassing signs I put up the more people I catch walking around. I wish we could go back to the days of ask once shoot once, that would help a bunch.

Years ago, my SIL found a tree stand on her posted property. Needless to say, it was taken down. Then they had someone show up at their door wanting to know what happened to their stand. I think they played dumb. I do know the person did not get their stand back.
