Yesterday morning was -17 degrees F so I consoled myself with "probbably the last really cold day this year" and "37 degrees next Tuesday"


Uh-huh. yep. It was -27 this morning. We were unprepared so indoor temp fell to 62. Brr!

I absent-mindedly rolled down my car window to check for mail this morning. Whoops, mail doesn't come until 11 a.m.

Car window wouldn't go back up. It will still go down so I think it will work when it warms up. Hopefully before I go pick up kids from school!

10 degrees F above zero. Car window rolled back up! Whew!

For awhile this winter eldest had to drive with the driverside window all of the way down.

Because he had no signal lights ... so had to signal with his arm.

He did it all summer long.....

The cold weather this fall inspired him to sweetly beg his younger brother to fix it.

He is back to school. 5 day suspension.

I'm looking at about 3" of white...unwelcome but, could have been soooo much worse. So I'll deal! 🤪 it's cold! I'm at the southern end of a huge storm. North is slammed and it's still falling!

7 degrees and snowing. It’s pretty cold to be snowing! Not cool with this 🤣 forecasted for 3-7”, The seacoast will get a lot more snow and wind than us and I’m ok with that!
