Oh - well that makes it so much better, lol! (hear the sarcasm)
Nope can't do it - at least not on a daily basis for months and months. This past February when we had those kind of temps...it wasn't ok. However I've gotta say that when I was dressed for it and forced to be outside I didn't die, lol.

I have to wear a scarf or mask in the 20°s. I start coughing otherwise. It's to do with my asthma and easy enough to deal with.
A huge amount of the puddles have drained off here in the last day and a half with lighter rain.
We are expecting dry days on Tuesday and Wednesday. Silkies will be happy since I keep them penned if it's raining or they stand out in it.

We clean out the ashes every month or so, the chickens get it for their dust baths and the we so a full clean in the spring when we shut down.
