I think I will call on them. I dont have any fencing up yet. Do you think they would do ok hanging out in the barn for the winter?

Only if you want them to destroy everything in your barn. Do you have stalls?

No stalls, but I could rig some up.

Honestly, there is not much in there. Then again, I dont know how destructive goats can be.

I always feel slightly bad for those of you that crave barn space...and I have a barn with a loft that is mostly empty.

They can be very destructive. They will climb, chew, find every possible weakness quickly. Others here who've had them longer could probably tell some good stories. All I can say is, mine try the gate every time I come out and if I forget to lock it they make a beeline for the duck food, then the porch to see if they can get the feed cans open. Mine are pretty laid back, but I wouldn't trust them outside of their fortress. They get into trouble easily.
I'm not trying to be discouraging, just want you to be prepared and I have no idea how much you know about goats :)
