What can I do with funny tasting milk?

We have 2 gallons of store milk that has a funny taste. It's a better brand, no growth hormones, etc, etc. I think it tastes funny because they changed the feed as it seems to happen during the changing of the seasons.
Anyway, other than chickens and dogs, any ideas of what I can do with it?
 
Do you want to consume it? If so, paneer is super easy. Heat it to almost-boiling, then add enough vinegar to curdle it. Then press. Save the whey and make (real) ricotta.
 
Maybe you can start a massive bread dough mix and individually freeze bread size pieces. Make a huge batch of biscuits and layer them onto wax paper, on trays and individually freeze them also. Find a few creamed soup recipes, calling for milk. Make a milk, mustard, seasoning and egg bath for frying and soak some meat or vegetables in the fridge with a little of it. Mix it with some ice cream to make the kids a shake....or better still...locate a recipe to turn it into ice cream (ice milk).

It is my understanding that the whey from vinegar soured milk is not suitable for ricotta. The vinegar precipitates all the milk solids, and there isn't anything left. Fermented or rennet based cheese making will leave enough milk solids for ricotta.
 
Wait long enough and use it for sour dough starter.
 
haven't heard from you Marianne. I'm hoping that, since it's been 2 weeks since you originally posted, you figured out something to do with the milk? Otherwise, it's probably pretty nasty now.
Storebought milk isn't really safe when it turns-- unlike raw milk; since the enzymes and naturally occurring "bugs" have been destroyed by pasteurization, you have no idea what cultures have started growing in there
