What did you do in your garden today?

I went out yesterday and watered the garden. Picked some more tomatoes and removed the peppers that looked like they were toast. Nothing in my garden this year has really been productive except the pumpkins and vining squash. I did get a decent potato harvest though. I'm going to try to completely reconfigure the garden this fall and hopefully next year I can post pictures and be proud of them not embarrassed. The neighbor planted morning Glory and it's been a serious fight with those buggers.

i am now going to get breakfast and go outside. it is much nicer out today so i better get it done while i can.

Had the wife out this morning for her weekly get out of the house excursion and we stopped at our local greenhouse which was having a discount sale. Came home with a Ohio climate hardy fig tree, totally not in the plans. Wife grew up with figs as a kid, so between her and all of your enthusiasm, I had no defense

Picked one small pepper and 3 small Roma tomatoes this evening. Cleaned out one of the fallow beds, will plant beets tomorrow.
