What did you do in your garden today?

Thats sad I have been wondering about sunchokes, did you like them?
I thought my new asperigus had all died from our crazy winter, but now 9 out of 10 have sprouted so I'm pleased.

Do not eat a lot at once unless you like stomach upset. They are mostly inulin. Some is very good for you. Can eat raw or cooked. I scrub the peel off with a stiff brush and slice for salad sometimes. Crunchy and a little sweet.

Leaves are used as a livestock fodder. They actually produce a lot of stem and leaf. The deer reallt liked that.
