What did you do in your garden today?

so in all
collard greens, spinach, romaine, kale, chicory, basil, parsley, dill, cilantro, bunching onions, beets, parsnips, carrots, turnips, (zucchini squash, cucumbers are still in pots) three different, colored, marigolds, fig, apple, pear, plumb, thornless blackberry, blueberries, celery, soral, mustard, garlic and leeks.
I have out in the grow bags, two regular sweet potatoes, and two
purple sweet potatoes (waiting on slips to sprout) and some red and yellow potatoes. I put up a green bean tepee and planted green beans around it, and in a different bed I planted runner beans and peas, I have tomatoes and jalapeños in pots in the house- I made a bed for asparagus which is sprouting and I also have planted two new cherry trees. [ no corn this yr , I dont think I have room]
That's the veg edibles- I have the 4 herb beds and 20 lavender.

we had freeze last night of 25F with windchill down to 15F.

tonight it looks like we avoid another freeze.

too early to plant much here, but peas and early bean experimenting is often possible starting about here. i'll hold off and see what the forecast looks like for a bit yet.

I've only started pin cherry seeds and milkweed.

It wasbdry enough finally, I would have finally be able to till part of the garden this week but not with my knees. Hubby said he'll help move pots this weekend. Tomatoes do better in them for me.

I need to get potting mix from Costco. If we use my truck it can sit in the bed a week or so.

Did mow for the first time last couple days.

By 2pm I got everything on my list done, even the mullen and nasturtiums. Got everything watered, cleaned up goats area and put dinner in the oven.
