Its changed over the last few years--no horses or dogs right now but

200 plus chickens
120 hogs
40 black angus / 1 bull
30 goats (along with just over 50 kids right now)
3-4-5-6-7-8 barn cats (and probably feeding the whole neighborhood now)
1 cat that is mine

2 horses to be added soon (1 for me and 1 for DD)

no dogs now--they are a pain right now and wouldn't fit in good at this point, maybe later

Another townie here so....

5 ducks (1 drake, 4 hens)
4 quail (1 roo, 3 hens)
and three stupid cats

One (Cookie) is older than dirt. She will be 21 this fall. The other two are my sons and we have them while he is in the army. I can't wait for the house to be cat-free!!!!!

I guess I just don't appreciate "fiber art" :gig

This spring I will get more quail once I get the little stinkers I already have in to their outdoor digs. They are so messy they make the ducks look neat and tidy! Sheesh!!!

I love reading that others have a weakness for animals too, we do not have as many as some but here goes.

We have:
1 snail
I too was surprised at the amount & variety as I read along the thread, when I saw '1 snail' a picture formed in my head that I just had to draw & spent 15 minutes giggling like an idiot the whole time. I beg you not to be offended in any way, I'm just a silly fool.

To list:
53 chickens (14 Orps - Blue, Splash & Buffs, 2 Red Stars, 2 Buff rocks, 1 EE, 13 silkies, 4 OEGB's, 6 Seramas, 1 RIR, 1 Sicilian Buttercup, 1 Polish, 1 frizzle bantam cochin, 6 bantam crosses and an OEGB house chicken. About 1/3 are rescues. They are all named, but this post would be endless if I typed it all out.

6 turkeys (4 Bourbon Reds, 1 Narragansett & 1 ?)

1 15 year old black cat, boy, Ramesses (SPCA)

1 black kitten, girl, tiny demon, Serafina (dumped on my porch by persons unknown). Serafina always takes time to eat the flowers (and everything else)
