This is an interesting look at what families around the world spend on food for one week, and what they buy with their money. There are pictures of statistically "average" families from all over the world, along with what they eat in a week.

I just noticed there was other pictures, I think I'd go with the Turk's, Indian's meal myself.

This is interesting. Maybe I will journal what my family east in a week. See where a bouts we fall in the mix.

I know my cost is nowhere near 300.00 per week, thats just crazy. I liked the Indian families choices as well.

Yeah, me, too. That is WAY more money than we spend, and I had to look really, really hard in the American picture to see any whole food. I still couldn't find any vegetables, just some fruit, I think. Uggh!

i spend 500 a month and could not imagine spending 300 a week and we are a family of 4

i suppose they dont know the value of a coupon

Did you also notice how many people the Mali and Ecuador families are feeding for their $30 a week? (Ditto EB )

Whole foods stretch farther than processed foods.
