what to do with small, mesh bags (e.g. from onions)

this might be a dumb idea, that I am going to try anyway, but could they be used as mini fruit nets? I haven't got great nets for the grapes and I was looking at the empty onion bag tonight thinking it might fit just nicely over a single bunch of grapes . I'll give it a go, but suspect the birds might think it is a new fun game.

Make bags like this. I bought some of these and use Command hooks to hang them off the side of the fridge. Space is tight here.

I was pulling a mandarin out of a bag and brain went "hey you could make some of these with mesh bags" earlier.

I don't think you'd need actual dowels to keep the top spread. Nice small branches could be salvaged from pruning. That spread is very important for easy access in and out of the bag.

Might even be able to sell them at a craft fair or farmers market. (if we are allowed to have any this year)
