Meatloaf! Cooler weather allows the oven to be used 68 out & nice breeze thru open windows.

Just put it in the oven. Later I'll bake a potato. Temp now is good for a pan of brownies, too Get it all while I can.

One jar of 2021 home canned chicken. One jar of 2021 pinto beans. Toss in cooked butterfly pasta, some fresh anaheim chilis, some dehydrated onions and zuc, lots of spices, toss with cheese. Bake for 70 min.

Fried rock fish with rice and veggies. Tried a new simple batter. Turned out well and still was low sodium

Hubby's reaction was. "Make fish tacos with this batter." So it was a hit

Not sure.....it'll be only from what's here! Soooo, freezer & pantry. Actually have too many choices. It's a good place to be but, also why I can't allow going to a store. I just ate a chunk of brownies from that panful I made, to help me "think".

Gosh, I had to freeze a lot of brownies!! Ya know, they sit in there and keep calling you. freezer has them shut up now.

Had a head of cabbage that needed to be used. Scraps to goats...but fried up a nice big pan of cabbage, onion, part of chopped up ham hock...tasty. That was tonight. Another couple meals left for later in week.

Pulled a pint of heavy cream from some milk. Now a pan with 1.5 gal is coming to room temp so I can cheese it. More than I need already but, I won't waste what was lovingly given.

I'm cooking a rabbit right now. It was gifted to me. DD sent me an authentic recipe from the other side of the world. I'll let you know how it tastes. Never had rabbit.
