What's for dinner?

Tonight I took the last of the beef roast from Monday and made a pot pie. I cooked 3 carrots, a cup of English peas and chopped half a onion. I chopped the roast and added a packet of instant gravy with a little water. I made a pie crust and put it all together I baked it at 350 F for an hour. It was so good, even the bottom crust was flaky.

Orange chicken, go to the website, click on meat and scroll down. The recipe says to mix the chicken with the sauce, but we laid the chicken on the rice and put the sauce over it. Reason: so I can heat the leftover chicken up in the oven and crisp it back up. I also used 3/4 cup of orange juice and the zest from one orange. It was so good we went back for seconds!

That website also has a recipe for making tortillas from dry corn kernels. I have some Painted Mountain that I want to make some tortillas from. Got to decide what filling I want for the tacos, cause I know those will be some epic tortillas!
