chili turned out excellent. :) the only things i didn't have on hand were some extra onions and the ground chuck - everything else came from the pantry. i'll get two weeks or more of meals from it as i'll put some in the freezer and also share some with my nephew.

Baked sweet potato for me. DH is having a snack plate with cheese, crackers and some pickled veggies. What's wrong with us, lol.

Actually, we're doing intermittent fasting. We generally eat between noon and 6ish pm. That means breakfast at noon, sometimes we have a snack around 3 and a light dinner. It's working - we're both down some pounds! As a bonus - DH's blood sugar is much more stable.

Fajitas. Had picked up a pack of beef chain at the bussiness center. Cooks fast and tender because it's still from the tenderloin. Just have to remove all the silverskin first.
