Every time we went camping when I was a child we had fried spam, potatoes and onions. Cooked in cast iron skillet, over an open flame - nothing better! I occasionally still crave it and when I do - I have it.Fried up, it can be tasty!Maybe fried bologna.
Also had lots of fried bologna back in the day - couldn't afford bacon. Mom would make little slices in a couple places along the edge so it would lay fat in the frying pan. A slice of fried bologna and a fried egg on a piece of toast for breakfast and we thought we were in high cotton, lol.
