What's your least favorite chore?

I'm another strange one, I don't mind ironing in the least. There are a couple of day time shows that I'll watch at times, and normally when I'm watching them is when I fold up and put away laundry, and iron.

I have to confess---I too love to iron

Maybe me, D Deb and Just need to start a new chapter of "ironers anonymous;";)

I began my life as an "ironer" at age 13 when it became my chore at home, back in the day when most things were ironed. I still iron my scrub shirts for work, table cloths, and any thing else that looks wrinkle-y hate wrinkles!

When Iam with mt iron it is my peaceful time.

The chore I hate the most, where shall I begin, I guess number one must be-cleaning the bathroom, I hate it but it's gotta be done.

1. Weeding.
2. Cleaning the chicken barn.
3. Ironing.

I try to do chores while listening to books so that nearly everything becomes at least mildly enjoyable :)

My most unfavorite chore is the daily picking up of chicken poop off the top of the straw in the chicken coop. I do it every morning helps to keep the coop cleaner. But it is not the most fun thing to do...

I too don't like doing dishes, I LOVE to cook, but hate to clean up afterwards!!

That is a good idea. My Dad loves books on tape.

Hubby won't do the dishes. He'll decide to make dinner and will use up almost all of the pots and pans. Then, if I don't have time to do them, he'll complain about not having any clean dishes. His excuse for not doing them? He works 40 hours a week. Last time I checked, even w/out having a job, I work more hours than he does. I start on stuff shortly after he leaves, only take a couple of half hour breaks during the day, am still working on stuff when he gets home at 4:00, and will normally do stuff until it gets too dark to see outside. Plus, I normally work all day Saturday. I try not to do anything on Sunday since I do need one day to relax, but at times I have to. If RU is away, that means I have her animals to feed, and at times, I have to put out hay.

My least favorite is dusting, hands down. I would rather scrub toilets than dust. I get sick every time I dust the house so I just let it get bad enough until hubby does it. :D

Next on the list is mopping....it hurts my shoulders and back. I just got a steam mop and the kids are fighting over who gets to mop the floors with it!!!! MWUHAAAAHAAAAHAAAAAAAAA

LOL Deb as my hubby is cooking, I walk thru. Wash a pot/pan/utensil/bowl or whatever fast. I control the drama!
The he says, where is that bowl I was using, I say washed. :P
He gives me the 'look'. and yea, I end up having to wash it twice.

while his BBQ and more is delish, he thinks he is doing me a great service for cooking for us. without having to clean the mess-- HAHA

key is, stay a step ahead of the menfolk!!

In my kitchen, that's impossible. Don't know what he's going to do when I have my operation. There's no way I'll be able to do dishes for a least a couple days, if not longer.
