How does wife swap fit in with emergency preparedness??

well, if you're watching the episode airing right now - there's a serious survivalist mom devoting her entire life to preparing her family for surviving after 2012!!!!!

They practice fire drills and zombie drills and everything!

oh, and a zombie, according to her definition, is anyone who would come after everything you've stocked up. I so didn't know that!

Each of her kids even has their own emergency survival kit that they carry with them at ALL times!

AND the parents have interest free loans on EVERYTHING until 2013!!!

If you're not watching it, TURN IT ON!!! lol It's GREAT!!

I just finished watching it. I agree with most of the things the woman has taught her family, however I am not one of those that believes the world is going to come to an end. I also don't believe that we should be doing these things JUST because the world may come to its end.

I was probably thinking the same thing as you and was duped into opening it. I have no idea what this thread is about as I don't even own a TV anymore and has been more then 5 years since I received the 2 local stations, PBS and oaf winfrey.

I have only seen the ads for wife swap. It sounds like one of those shows I don't want to know about.

I don't know, wife as commodity just ticks me off. I refuse to be anyone's cow or goat.

Like most reality shows they cast the egotistical and loony. I cant stand those shows.

As for the zombie thing, check out http://www.zombiehunters.org/
They use zombies as a metaphor for any natural disaster, after all if your prepared for zombies that snowstorm or flood is going to much easier to deal with. They are trying to reach younger people that probably arent going to the red cross or fema preparedness sites.

I don't watch those shows I did once but couldn't take it lol
