Thanks for sharing the homemade window cleaners!

Would it also work on eyeglasses?

and another
* 3 tablespoons ammonia
* 1 tablespoon white vinegar
* 3/4 cup water
* 2 drops blue food coloring

Mix all ingredients in order into a spray bottle

As you can see they all pretty much use the same ingredients

Does the blue food coloring do anything special, or is it just to make it look more like 'real' windex?

You said it perfectly, there is no purpose for the color other than being like windex.

Would you have to be careful of it staining? Otherwise, it would be really fun to have a rainbow of different cleaning products!

I do not add it, so I am not 100% positive, but two drops would barely make color, I would not worry about it.
