Gotta kill us some roosters and take it for a test drive!!! Seriously.....Those roosters still fly when I play soccer, so they get to stay and fertilize some eggs for spring brooding. Then into the dutch oven they go! Weeee! Scooooooore!

I have two racks of beef ribs in the freezer...I will thaw them out early next week (busy weekend) and take it for it's first spin. I'll get dh to maybe film a bit and put it up on youtube again. We are trying to learn to do this more so I can do some clips for my classes.

Of course, that means I have to clean my kitchen.... :/

You might be able to have somebody make a lid lifter for you. They would have to see the lid to know what kind of end to make but it shouldn't be too hard.
Modern Pioneer could do something like that easily.

So the dutch ovens with legs... how can you use those on stoves? Or are they only usable for campfire cooking?
