I skimmed over an article today, about all of the winter weather and how 2008 has been the coolest year of the decade. The interesting part was that the cool weather was blamed on (drum roll, please)... Global Warming. Go figure.poppycat said:

3 days of rain and crud coming here...brr...
I did do a load of laundry...it hung out most of the day and it dried some, so will cut dryer time by alot...but when I heard 3 days of rain coming....well, I did the stinkin' laundry..HA HA

Me too, Karen. I hate to do it, but I've got the third load in the washer, soon to go into the dryer. Can't depend on being able to line dry in December in New England! Doesn't mean I won't, I just have to get the right days to do it.

No school here today...rain, flash freeze and snow...Dh called me from the main road and told me not to even bother trying to get out of here today...it's that bad...and he is travelling today...gotta get those "don't worry" thoughts into motion. A plane slid right of the runway trying to land here last night...thank the Lord no one was hurt! And I am supposed to be getting my propane tank filled before I hit empty...there's no way that truck is comng down here right now.
Good thing I did all my shopping yesterday:>)
Oh yes...and we gotta love our men...mine has been spending the winter cleaning the snow off the roofs of all the storage sheds he has his stuff in but of course he didn't think to clean off my greenhouse...so it collapsed last night under the weight of all the snow and then rain...ughhh! I am not sure if it is going to be repairable.

Ughh I went out to clean it off and have a look at it...it is all plastic panels run through metal strips to hold it all together...well the roof part is beyond repair. The walls seem alright...but it looks like this spring it will have to be torn down. I guess I will be buildng another one if I want one and this spring I won't be able to go through with all the plans I made...the snow won't melt here until the end of April...not in a good mood today
