It's - something outside, the driveway is litereally a huge sheet of ice. We're supposed to get 14 CM of snow tonight and perhaps some rain. There is a good reckoning that tomorrow might be another snow day.

We were at a frigid 32 degrees this morning, with scattered snow here and there, the snow above us (1500 ft elevation) has stayed, the snow below is in patches here and there, in town there is only occasional ice, its up to 45-50 degrees during the daytime...Its supposed to be this way, with snow in the higher elevations, through Christmas .
I hope everyone in the colder states stays safe when their conditions are so bad. We have 4x4 vehicles that are prepared for snow and hazardous conditions, we often rescue people who are stranded or wrecked in outlying areas....stay safe and warm!

DEEEEEEP FREEEEEEZE!!!
We had a blizzard this weekend and now it's been well below zero for the past three days.

I still love winter though.

You're getting about the same thing we did yesterday...we lost alot of our snow to the rain though...now we only have about 2 ft of snow with alot more on the way apparently...

Wet here, rained all afternoon & during the night too. We are expecting more today too. We are staying home today that's for sure! Even when we opened the blinds yesterday it did not add much light to the house most of the day. I think today will be a pot of beans on the stove for supper.

28 degrees here- cold for sure by our standards. I broke out the down booties and my snuggle sack- the house was 53 when I woke up- the pellet stove and the hydronic heat have been woring on warming it up and it's now 58 degrees after two hours.

The poor arthritic dog had trouble pooping this morning as there was black ice in her kennel and she couldn't get traction to assume the position. Poor baby- lucky for her she's an inside dog and only makes forays out to do her business.

I need to get Christmas presents off TODAY but I don't really want to drive- no sun reaches the roads due to the dense forest so it icey all the time. I may just walk the couple of miles.

I added extra mulch to the artichokes -I do hope they make it.

FC- I'll trade you sun for warm- you just need to deliver it.

yup, you make me blush about my sun comment...ya'll freezing with ice and snow and me moaning no sun....I take it back...I LIKE MY WARMER WEATHER.
