All good things must eventually come to a end. Tomorrow Chopper goes in the deep freezer.

After several escapes, the last being chopper paying a visit to our closest neighbor up the road about 1/4 mile away. and my wife having to go and get him. For some odd reason he loves to visit our neighbors jack ass. He's pretty easy to herd back home with a long stick though.

2 weeks......PORK CHOPS!!! :drool:drool:drool:drool:drool

Tomorrow I'll be cutting some pork chops :drool I pushed it up a week. He keeps busting out and visiting the neighbors and starting to get a little agressive - it's time... I put a fine hone on my pocket knife and stropped it with a length of leather, it's now double scarry sharp. My son is coming over in the morning to help. Honestly it would be really hard for me to shoot him. After rescuing him and working to bring him back to health. eventhough I tried to keep my distance, I guess I didn't keep my distance well enough. It would be really hard for me to pull the trigger. My son completely understands - so he's coming over to pull the trigger.

After we took the turkey off the pit yesterday, I had the ham hocks from the red wattle hog we processed in June thawed out and ready. I put 'em on to smoke while we ate. Smoke those ham hocks! :drool

Our neighbor Robert, was a Viet Nam sharpshooter. He came over and shot the pigs. I know what you mean....

I'm sure you completely understand what I'm saying... My son is a Marine and expert shot according to the Marine Corps. I told him one shot and no drama so he's bringing his SKS.

Yup. Robert dropped 'em with one shot. I tossed treats over the fence and they never knew what hit them.
