I'm far inland north of the great lakes so no snowmageddon for me, but the winds are supposed to start coming in shortly and with it a huge plunge in temperature. And we are supposed to get some of that snow next week, but nothing crazy, predicting 5-10cm (2-4in).

I'm not sure how much snow we've gotten so far because of the wind. I don't even want to take Callie out! And, once the snow stops, it's going to get bitterly cold. I hate these temps.

Twenty four here this morning, but doesn't feel that bad with no wind blowing and the sun shining. I didn't even bring a coat to work - just a sweater.

Was scheduled for a demo today but got it moved to Sun. Not driving in this crap.

It's beautifully sunny now, 20mph winds, this powdery snow swirling like little tornados. 2" deep one step & 12" the next..crazy. Rescued 2 chickens this AM....a young roo, obviously too chilled to move & put him inside an empty coop to warm up. A young hen that's about 3 months -- mom decided she was done with mommy chores! -- pullet was in barn Last night but, chilled early from so much snow wading. Took her back into barn where it's warm & sunny. Hen with 3 6 wkchicks kept all inside!

Supposed to get into minus temps tonight with wind.

My little dog keeps wanting out and when I open the door she looks at me like "wrong door! where's my yard?"
