Thanks, also stressful but trying to chill about it (I'm not good at that! )

I haven't even thought about Christmas shopping. No one's getting much this year, I wanted to make Christmas soap but I haven't had time. I'm hoping to be in the new house by Christmas...

DD1 is having a really hard time with the whole moving thing. She has class today, hopefully that'll help and not cause more chaos for her. We're going to take a bunch of pics this morning so she can show off her sheep to her fiber class friends!

Also, apparently copper is expensive... at TSC, an 8lb bag of goat minerals is like $11. A 50lb bag of sheep minerals is $22! Sheesh, way cheaper!

- no - I'm not gonna get sheep unless it's a hairless one destined for the freezer. I do love lamb. :drool

AMEN to that! I have sat on my hands at a couple auctions with some nice ones but, wasn't ready. May grab 2 this Spring, just for freezer in Fall. Depends on any Boer I find -- prices, sizes, etc.

WOW - the sheep are SO wooled….Makes me think I would need to brush them out. I'm certain you have a use for that wool, me no. It's great that these animals come in types & sizes to fit all our desires! All of them have such adorable faces...hair or wool. You just want to hug them. Like baby goats, snuggle!

Thrilled that you got them and hoping they work out for you as well. It's hard to keep changing up.

Now, we are waiting for the house MOVE IN....:D After that I bet everything will be better.

Yes minerals are easier - if they eat them, if they eat enough of them, and if the sheep don't! But, with just a few goats I thought twice a year bolus-ing might be easy...:hu

That is what we're going to do, bolus the goats. I was just comparing the minerals I used to use with the ones I need now :) we hate bolusing so we do the same as you. Always afraid I'm going to shoot the dang thing down their windpipe lol!

Here we go again. 6-9" they say, localized amounts up to 15". I dont know what that means, I hope its not me, lol. Woke up to power going out around 11. So did baby. Generator running now, baby's back asleep... these power outages are getting a little ridiculous. Maybe cut some trees? Ugh!!

Power came back at 4, which woke DD1 up. Then went back out at 8. Sigh.

DH asked FIL to check in with them, they were supposed to have moved our house by now. They haven't even been here to prep to move it. Not impressed. So we are home, with most of our stuff at my moms, pipes are still frozen and now, no power. Will be heading down for showers and laundry later today. I am not a happy person.
