Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

She is Hispanic and she's got a lot of experience. And, she makes great tamales! She speaks better English than Spanish and she's definitely bossy. My mom and dad loved her and so does MIL already.

MIL has been bathing herself up to now ...and we bought her a shower chair for Christmas that actually fits in and out of the tub at the same time. Weird...but she can sit down on the outside of the tub and just pick up her feet and slide into the tub. No trying to step over the side of the tub. Mostly she helps her with bathing so that she can wash her hair. MIL has a problem with that - and plus - I think she enjoys the help and the pampering. :)

So sorry, again you're dealing with this

Thanks! It is what it is I guess... not much we can do about it except to just deal. Sigh.

There's an older guy we know who has someone come to his house a few times a week. He yelled at her a few times , she finally got in his face and said "you don't scare me old man, shut up and cooperate with me". They're good now, lol.

Anyway, glad they're getting along better than the cranky old man I know! You and your family are fortunate to have her around to help!

I'm happy to say that the pig moving went much better than I expected. The ones that were penned in the wrong place really wanted out. So - now they're out. It was nice of them to be so cooperative.

PIA is still big fat and pregnant...but udder is getting bigger and ligs are getting lower...

Dang, my life is boring...pigs and PIA - PIA and pigs.

One more day of work to get through and then 4 days off. YAY!

PIA needs to stop being such a PIA though.
She really does. But, honestly, it's not her fault I didn't write anything down! Shame on me…:(

BUT, here's some exciting news - my chicks were shipped today! Don't know if they'll be in tomorrow or Friday, but I'm ready. Brooder just needs feed and water and it'll be ready for babies. I need to remember to plug it in tomorrow morning. Yay for new chicks!

Came to work this morning at 7:30 - got the call from the post office at 8:30 - got back to work at 9:30. Tired already! Cedar pollen is the bane of my existence.

PIAs ligaments are really, really, low and soft and udder is even bigger...but not tight. With her being a FF - I have nothing to go on. BUT - I'm going out on a limb and guessing we'll have babies, mmmm, within the next 145 days, lol. (or sometime within the next few days)

I've got to really clean the barn tonight or early morning. It's muddy and crappy and even with the chickens outta there it gets dirty quickly because they're not doing anything but standing around eating hay instead of going out...silly goats.
