Winter Storm Harper

Officially 8" here in southern. IL. IDOT closed I57 due to over 50 accidents and snow drifts. IDOT also issued a tow ban, so I guess if your stuck, tough luck!

I just took my wife's Rottweiler out, the storm door off the front porch was frozen shut. I had to break it loose with the palm of my hand. I was really shocked to see so much snow and the wind is absolutely brutal and it's now 25 degrees.

The weather guessers, guessed 1 to 2 inches for us - horray for the heartland.

Sheesh - better you than me! I think we're staying above 30 but wind chill is ridiculous! (for us)
