Been cooking a lot lately. Trying to stock up leftovers in the fridge since we will soon be out of convenience foods for when I'm not able to cook. Also using up random leftovers in the pantry. Eat the least healthy food first! 😂 I could complain or stress about reduced access to groceries, but I'm just playing over here. Its an opportunity to change my family's food habits for the better.

That's fantastic, hope his luck continues!
😂😂😂😂 he is having a rotten day. He dumped moldy grain in the barn gutter last week. Turns out it doesnt clean out easy, so the he ran the barn cleaner and it broke in the spot it goes under the barn floor. It's fixed now, but has not been a fun day. His rib is hurting him a lot. He thinks it is broken. He slipped and fell on the edge of the loader when he was hanging lambs last week. 😣

I saw a local woman on FB needing winter boots. I have a nice pair in my Goodwill donation bag in her size! I wrapped them up in Christmas wrap with a card, just to make her smile. She is picking them up tomorrow. I cant wait. I think I'll be able to see her reaction from a window.

He's having plenty of luck - it's just of the bad variety, lol. Poor guy!

Cool that you're able to find a person who specifically needs those boots. It'll be nice to see her reaction. That's really a feel good thing to see someone else's joy!

It's nice to find someone that can use something you are giving away.

Boi is at the vet clinic getting neutered today. Baymax is loving it. She normally sleeps upstairs all day, but today she is happy and snuggly. She chewed 2 deer scapulae and is taking a long nap on Boi's bed. 🤣

I'm cooking again today. We're out of food! Only ingredients left! 😂

Feels like a good day for a nap. 💜

Does DH part out and wrap the deer? It's a job -- more than you probably want.

We have a lot of them here but, they are not only well fed but smart! Mostly only see them at night in hunting season. 😁 rest of the year they graze quietly morning and evening. First pack of dogs out and they hide. Last few days the roads are packed with hunters trucks in every drive off.

Question how's your hair growing? DH get used to it yet?

I've cut my hair three more times! 🤣 DH doesnt like it but he's getting over it.

We butcher at home. DH built the cold room for hanging deer and bought a band saw this year so its easier than usual.
