FOUND THIS IN LOOKING UP SALT IN WATER WITH A WATER SOFTNER-
I have read, Sodium is not the same as salt (sodium chloride)

The basic starter is equal parts flour (any kind)
to equal parts non chlorinated water

Later today I'll take pics of mixing up the starter.
I am going to use 1 3/4 cups Bobs Red Mill Organic All - Purpose Flour and 1/4 cup of organic Rye Flour and 2 cups of water
