Making the pepper soup fresh. Even though we have canned.
Wife is somewhat motivated to take some interest in working through the freezers and using stuff up. I think she wants to buy a side of beef soon.

So instead of tomato sauce (recipe calls for a small can), we used tomato paste. Simmering now. More like a chili that soup. Smells and tastes great

I’m making pork chops for the family but I don’t like them so for myself it’s chickpea curry over rice. I don’t usually cook two entirely separate meals but that’s what’s happening today!

Yesterday DH made a garlic shrimp fettucine with a fancy name from a recipe he saw online. He had to tweak the recipe, it had strange quantities. Enough chili pepper to serve 8, but 5 oz pasta? It was good. I picked out the shrimp and everyone else fought over the extra shrimp

not sure about dinner as DD15 has drama and DH is working late. Lunch though is brown rice with garlic, green olives, olive oil and feta cheese

we had take out Chinese today so i don't need much food the rest of the night. i just had a few chunks of a carrot.
