DS16 made fried rice (with a little coaching on how to cook it with different veggies than the recipe used). I had watermelon. Yum!

ham and bean soup for a starter, squash with butter, spices and brown sugar for dessert. had to get some corn chips in my gob somehow. made it so. now i'm pondering a square of chocolate with some cashews for a snack or perhaps that would be third or fourth dessert. depending upon if i remember the maple walnut fudge i also got into.
i didn't eat all that much most of the day until i had a hard boiled egg with some hot sauce.

We actually had a chicken dish - kinda like chicken cacciatore thingy. Wish I had planned a dessert or three, lol!

i had to get some cheese, crackers and hot sauce out a bit later as i sure was not going to make it through the night and those were a lot less bad than what else i was thinking about getting into.
haha! that sounds good to me. noodles and chicken and veggies...
i think i'll be making some chili this weekend or Monday.

i can eat chili cold from the fridge... just sayin'... the idea of it not being chili season would give me the chills... hmm... now i'm hungry for some chili with some over easy eggs on it and cheese and diced onions. no breakfast yet.

Meatloaf using up some gr beef from 2022. Added in some home dehyrdated potatoes (boiled and soaked for an hour) sauteed with bell peppers, onions and chard. YUMMY
