Always nice when we find a variety that we like. Save those seed - or hybrid?

an heirloom out of the upper midwest. plants were from a friend who sprouted them. she's getting another thank you today from me. :) i have started saving some seeds from them, but since i'm a pepper newbie when it comes down to sprouting them or saving pepper seeds i have no idea if they are viable or not yet. hope they will be but i think she'll have seeds and plants for next year if needed.

haha, now i see that you probably were asking @murphysranch ...

Murphy & I were prettym
Much posting same time & I didn't see her post.

I find pepper seeds some of easiest to dry & save!

Hmmm. Dinner. I have thawed both ground beef & ground chicken. Have hamburger rolls. Have veggies. It's a toss up! I'll eat something, eventually 🤷

oh, ok, if you want to get the right person's reply you can always tag them with the @ in front of their handle name so they know you're asking them (if they can't figure it out by context :) ).

the two peppers i cleaned out yesterday were very dry inside and the seeds were firm but not very big or dark at all. so they are white and dried now on a tray, but i will give them some more time before packaging them. so for now they get only a bit of paper with them which says what they are and what year it is.

dinner tonight so far has been some apple peels and some other apple slices, but i'm not sure what else i will get into.

Oh, my....bought a pork loin ON SALE Monday...cut into 8 thick chops and cooked the left over small roast tonight. Wow, now wish I'd gotten 3-4🤫. Was tender, tasty, great! Cooked some fingerling potatoes, mushrooms & onion in pan. I'm stuffed and happy. Leftovers for tomorrow, too, ☺️

leftovers sounds perfect for a Friday. :)

we had leftovers today from some of the manicotti that Mom did a while ago that she put in the freezer. took one of the small pans out yesterday and thawed it out and baked it. i could have eaten the whole thing but didn't. dessert later was the strawberries and ... wish i could have another dozen rounds of that... :)

Who knows? Probably some leftover something or other....

But, I do know what's for dessert! Sugarfree cheesecake just came out of the oven. Some strawberries/blueberries to spoon over and even have some SF Cool Whip. I'd rather have real whipped cream, but this was what I had.

All in the name of getting some fruit and whipped topping out of the freezer, lol. (Ya'll believe that, dontcha?)

i'll believe you if you believe i had to have a banana split for dinner... the bananas Mom bought were half rotten on the ends when i took one last night so i had to have another for breakfast to verify that. just a little ice cream and some peanuts to add more protein... yeah, that's my story and i'm sticking to it...

i did not have a banana split for breakfast but half a banana and then i made chili from the last few chilis from the garden and what was left of some previously made chili i took out of the freezer...
