BACOG - Lessons learned in the the $35/week food challenge

I wish I could be as good as Wannabefree and break down the cost of each meal but essentially what I did was buy groceries and told my self I would not eat over that amount. Last night was my niece's birthday dinner so I ate over at my mom's house for that (this is my adopted family). Today I...

    Soap & Detergents

I found a good recipe for laundry soap but does anyone make their own shampoo and/or dish soap? Also can anyone post a link to clear directions on how to make bath soap? I am thinking the regular lye type. I tried researching it on the internet but got into some of the fancier soaps which I do...

    Foodsaver Supplies?

I get my bags from Wally World. But be aware of 1 thing. They sell 2 brands of bags - the Food Saver & the Black & Deckers. Don't buy the B&D bags. They are cheaper but hard to get a good seal.

    Pallets??

I use them for target frames. When it gets shot up burn it & get another one. They also can be used for fencing for smaller animals.
