My mama chicken is on the bottom and her sister is on top of her and they seem to fight who is going to be mamma this time . The other one standing up is her baby from few months ago. I have buff orpingron and I have had no problem my girls hatching them out and caring for the there babys chicks

I bought some Jerusalem Artichokes ( they were on back order). I live in zone 7 and going to plant them in my smaller raised bed it already prepared for them. My question is when is the best time to plant them.

I always grow extra vegetables for my chickens and my rabbits. Plus hay and pellets.

In my area the county is trimming trees and branches that are died or in the way of power lines.. I talk to them and they are more then happy to let me take what I want.. I get free mulch to add to my garden and compost also free beanches and sometimes already cut trees for you y wood stove...

I have question for somebody. I order and planted 3 berry plants this year. Not sure if it's a bad spot where I planted them or my because of my chickens keep getting into that area but they aren't doing very good..anyway I want to move them . I'm in zone 7 when is the best time to move them.
