I only keep gasoline stored for a little under 3 months and make sure to cycle through it, by using it in my vehicle. If it is stabilized it might be ok for 6 to 8 months, but I think the stuff out of the pump is ok for 3 months. Entropy

Deb, that is the size of the geny I'd like to buy next, but right now we have a 3000 watt and keep about 100 L (that's what 20 Gal.) of gasoline on hand. With that past 3 million customer outage in the U.S. that lasted a week, I though people would want to make sure they have enough fuel on hand.

I have just the basics of wood tools, no planer, jointer, etc. A buddy of mine has come out scavenging off the side of the road with me, and kept setting aside pieces that he later used for turning on his lathe. Said they had great spalding in them. He made some nice stuff, sold it for good...

I sweep the chim for my wood stove twice a year, due to a bit of build up. I watched a few videos on the thermal mass rocket heaters. How on earth would you be able to effectively clean the 'ducting' or chim? Entropy

Thanks for the reply's. We pay about 10.8 cents per kWh, but by the time delivery, and all the fees and taxes are put on we are at 17.3 cents per kWh. It sounds like most people don't have nearly as many add-ons to their bill as we do here in Ontario. Entropy
