This past autumn, two of our friends started up again with rabbits. Yesterday they were telling us that the does are about to kindle. He is very worried that the kits won't survive because this is the does' first litters.

I'm not familiar with rabbits... is that normal to lose the first kits?

MTN can you use garlic infused oil for ear mites? Just asking....

We haven't had mites with the chickens, but my plan is to make some garlic infused olive oil and treat with that if our ladies ever do get mites.

1 large clove garlic (about 1 tsp crushed garlic)
1 cup olive oil

Crush the cloves of garlic, keeping all the garlic oil that squirts out.
Warm the olive oil and put into a sterile glass jar with tight fitting lid. Stir in the garlic and juices. Put in a dark place for about 1 week before using.


I used to manage a call center.... I found yoga breathing helps. ;D
