So six months ago i bought a place outside of town and decided to make a go at a more self-sufficient life style. Its a work in progress. I took some pics along the way.

That is a very handy skill to have!
I like that shed... I'm one of those people that goes to view a property and want to see the barn before the house They are just so useful!

You've got some lovely trees there too.

The garden / chicken coop. 40x80 with a gate in the middle. The chickens can run on the garden in the off season and i can shut the gate in the growing season

First hatch with a used incubator from cl. I got 7 of 15. Had to buy some feedstore chicks as well
