Years ago when I had show rabbits, I kept them in hanging wire cages in a barn. The chicken coop was attached to the rabbit barn. The chickens kept the dropped feed cleaned up, kept the rabbit poop turned, ate the fly larva and laid eggs. It was a win-win.

Congrats on the new rabbit. I always shut down breeding during the summer and resumed it in the fall when it cooled down.

So my chickens have been under the rabbit hutches alot lately. Ive been piling woodchips under there so they layer with the rabbit manure for a composting rabbit manure pile. They have kept it all stirred up. 3 months and its mostly finished compost!

Rain rain go away! Our place is a slop hole. I dressed out so.e rabbits today and went to bury the waste in the garden. Dug down 8 inches and the hole filled with water. That cant be good
