9 cans of mustard greens out of the canner. tomorrow we will do turnip greens

canning them all....and there's still more to be picked! gotta fill the pantry. it's bare

Mine is too. Last years garden was a huge fail. I have empty jars to fill!

9 jars of turnip greens for the pantry. there's plenty more greens to be picked out there too. may be 20 more cans..

wife canned another 11 jars of greens today. that makes about 30 so far. the collards haven't even came up yet...

Wow! I've never tried canning greens. I'm still scarred from canned spinach when I was a kid, the long slimy leaves triggered my gag reflex something awful. So I usually just dry them and crush them up a little- not to powder, just to smaller pieces- and then add them to stuff like stir fries.
