With all that lovely grass, you could buy a couple of lambs, wethers, and raise them for the freezer. Lamb chops, lamb burger, lamb stew meat....... I have the leg of lamb sliced into round steak and tenderized. Gotta have chicken fried steak! LOL

got another couple inches of rain last night. its like a Louisiana swamp here. makes it hard to do anything with standing water and mush everywhere but i did manag to get the new apple trees mulched.

we might actually get some pears and peaches this year for the first time inspite of it all. fingers crossed!


the meat birds are doing well. i cant wait until the tractor makes it all the way down to the orchard. its a trail of fertility!
