first attempt at leather work. absolutely terrible! but its functional and works well so ill keep it. be carefull with those needles lol!

I wouldn't say terrible, looks like.it does the job to me. So good is more like it. Besides it was obviously a good project, you bleed. Like you, I leave a little DNA on just about everything I set out to build or fix.

i see nothing wrong with any of that (other than the holes in the fingies ). they have such things called thimbles for a reason...

Just curious... Did you use a little drill bit to make holes for the stitches? I found it worked well when I did my the leather lamantaion inside my hunting knife sheath.

3rd attempt of leather working. made an axe sheath for this old Vulcan by Kelly Axe and Tool. i LOVE this old axe. it cuts deep, lops off branches effortlessly and the handle is the perfect length. its the axe i carry in my pick up so i have it at all times.

sheath turned out ok this time. ive been watching alot of videos and yrying to get better. still have 8 or 10 left to make
