planted a peach tree and 1 year later DH dropped an 80' tall tree on it and snapped it off about a foot up; then it started to grow again and a year later he mowed it down.
Was he trying to tell you something? 🤔


Biggest persimmons I ever seen.
I agree. That's what made me think lemons...kinda oblong. Here our persimmons are not so yellow and are rounder/flater.

persimmons are in. not bad for the first harvest. maybe next year will be even better.

our small pantry is full.it only holds 150 or so jars. the closet is the overflo and it's getting cramped. I'm hopeful to get some more potatoes and chicken canned this weekend...mybe some rabbit. oh and I finally got those rabbits in the freezer! rabbit season is here and I have not even bred yet. I need to get on top of that.

And soon it will be hunting season. You normally get venison.
