OFG, DH nicknamed me that!

Buford was happy to see me today when I picked him up after work. I knelt down to hug him and he started whimpering! The whole ride home he hung his head...struggling to stay awake. Now he wants to play and I'm having to keep him calm.

Well, I'm going to try to blog about some delicious tamales I made last night!! I got the inspiration from OFG's journal!

LOL, well, I didn't want to just give the "uh huh" "yeah" "mm hmm" responses and make her think I wasn't listening. Although the way the woman rambles she wouldn't notice.

This morning we're getting a snowy/rainy slushy mix. It's supposed to get colder as the day goes on, and turn to snow tonight. They're calling for 5-8" tonight. :/ I think I may leave work a tad early, depending on what the weather is doing. I need to prep the animals....more bedding, fill up waterers, etc.

I *may* takeo ff work tomorrow depending on how much snow we get. If we only get a few inches I'll work, but if we get 8" I'll probably stay home. DH won't be home tonight since he has to work when it snows.

We've been so lucky this winter compared to last winter when we had 2 major storms each dumping about 2' on us. This is nothing compared to that, but still it's a pain. I wouldn't be as negative about it if DH could be home with us though.

I would really like to be home tomorrow though, because I want to do some crafting to try to sell some stuff. I have a few feed bags (a pretty pink Layena bag and a few cool cat food bags) I want to make into tote bags, and I really want to get some felting done. It'd be nice to have a whole day to do that stuff!

Take advantage of that snow day if you can! They're calling for 8-10" here starting around....let's see...NOW and ending around 5 am tomorrow. I can't remember a time when I've wanted winter to go away so badly!

I am trying to get caught up on the newer journals so and Ohmigosh I love your headlamp pic at your blog! I think I may have to get one (a headlamp, not a blog ).
I'm working up to the tamales - I did enchiladas with the famous sauce that SD loves. It really was plate lickin' good!

You should totally get one! They're cheap. I can't believe I've lived this long without one!! Even if I do look like a miner....

I have one, and love it! I'm curious. I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere, but where do you live? I'm thinking some place on the East Coast since it sounds like you're getting the same storm I'm getting.
