awesome thanks PF!!!
Yeah I have read that dry foods are pretty much out for most people, unless you use a sauce or dressing etc ( Have you ever been to bariatriceating.com ?).
The surgeon said his ability to do it laprascopically is totally on me - pre-op diet of clear liquids and I think protein shakes for 6 days to shrink the liver. I am also working out pretty much everyday (well, 5 days a week at the gym, every day in the yard) and watching my grease / sweet / fat intake - trying to cut them down to nothing for the next several weeks so I will be ready.
My friend at work said he was up walking 2 hours after recovery. He has his 1yr mark coming up and has lost nearly 200lbs and looks amazing! He has done 2 5k's and rides his bike on the bike trails at the university near here. And he is incredibly happy.
I have only had a few people tell me "can't you just do it with diet and exercise" - I don't understand how having your organs sliced apart, pulled to another area and reattached is "easy"? And since you have to exercise the same (Or more because of excess skin risks) as a diet, how is it lazy? If they are saying stuff in well meaning I talk to them, otherwise I just walk away.
Anyway we had a light frost last night. Yes. A frost. In April. In Florida.
Hopefully it didn't damage my pepper plants - I didn't cover them when I came home on break from work because I was running late. I'd forgotten I had to go to TSC before they closed and buy some hay / bedding for the rabbit.
I am considering going and putting some of my tomatoes out, but I woke up with a massive headache, a bad case of the 'drop everything you touch' and some grouchiness - so I may just make sure they are ok in the trailer and wait until Friday.
ETA - forgot this award winning pic of the "babies" - 4wks old this past Sunday. I really need to get individual pics so I can round up some help on gender ID for them
