I'm sorry but this is getting really creepy. Anyone have any ideas??

Chemical testing? Sonic booms? Th birds in Bebe died from internal trauma. The little old lady in the interview said "poof, woosh" that's what she heard.

So what the military messing with now?

Can anyone explain why these particular bird species were flying around at midnight while fireworks are being set off? Seems highly unlikely.....

These types of bird and fish kills happen all the time. The internet and the 24 hour news cycle just makes them more visible. Although it seems as if there are more than usual occurring during a short time span recently, I wouldn't worry about them unless it were to continue unabated or increase. (At which time I would say "Head to the bunker!) :D

Beekissed - The fireworks may have well spooked them from their roosts. IMHO

So....they celebrate our New Year's with fireworks in these other countries also? And just happened to set them off near trees? And spooked large flocks of birds so they were so disoriented they couldn't fly and mangled themselves in the process of trying? And this hasn't happened every other New Year's since folks have been using fireworks to celebrate?

That's just too much coincidence, even for me.
