I didn't pour the soap into the mold last night because I thought it needed more stirring....remembered first attempt, so I figured I'd stir this morning and then pour, well I'd need a bigger batch or the soaps will look stupid. So I will pour them in my other molds and next batch will have to be a double batch or close to it, so they can fit in my new molds.
As of yesterday, I had about 7 weak muscovy ducklings that needed to stabilize before I put with the rest, so will probably do that today, leaving me with about 18 unhatched eggs. I think its crazy that I put all those eggs on 5/6/15 and they have taken this long to hatch and didn't all hatch out within a 3 day period. Glad for the good hatch rate, but I am worried about leaving for Florida. I might buy an extra 3 gallon waterer, just for my own peace of mind. Probably should empty out the stall I will be keeping them in too, because as hard-headed as I am, I will be wanting to bury some bottles before putting them in.
Last night and night before, I was called out to visit my oldest to help drain some boils she has. Yuck. Some of them are being very difficult. I have a feeling that her first line of defense was compromised when she got this massive tattoo on her thigh and that is the area. So been trying to keep things moving along and then bandaged her up and was leaving with my little ones and the 12 year old says,"Momma look," and I go over to where she was looking at the concrete slab in front of my grandparent's (now daughter's) home and I read,"Frances." I wonder if Momma scratched that with a stick herself or if one of my grands did it.
