Why aren't you making charcoal first?

What about faggots instead? Use the leaves and sawdust for soil amendments and harvest trees sustainably for fuel.
I had not seen anything on making faggots but I will check it out. As to the soil amendments I'm only allowed a 20ft by 5 foot section for gardening here so I can only use so much. I can not make charcoal here period. These briquettes are a fuel item not really BBQ briquettes its an effective way to use up some saw dust I can use elsewhere and have a nice fire in my fire pit with out buying logs. The higher compression isn't very elaborate by any means most ppl use a cheese press style , I happen to have a hydraulic one. Plus I got to turn and burn metal. Have a good one.


Also the biomass briquettes burned just like a fire log!
