Biomass Briquettes

That's interesting, never thought of doing this, but we do cook outdoors a lot, so this would be a nice project at some point.
Sure it does a very cool project to try. And somewhat not very common.

Wow. Elaborate. Most setups I've seen are a pipe or square tube with a hammer.

I doubt that compressing low-value fuel will help...

Why aren't you making charcoal first?

What about faggots instead? Use the leaves and sawdust for soil amendments and harvest trees sustainably for fuel.
I had not seen anything on making faggots but I will check it out. As to the soil amendments I'm only allowed a 20ft by 5 foot section for gardening here so I can only use so much. I can not make charcoal here period. These briquettes are a fuel item not really BBQ briquettes its an effective way to use up some saw dust I can use elsewhere and have a nice fire in my fire pit with out buying logs. The higher compression isn't very elaborate by any means most ppl use a cheese press style , I happen to have a hydraulic one. Plus I got to turn and burn metal. Have a good one.

Also the biomass briquettes burned just like a fire log!
