Bubblingbrooks Journey - Salut!

It wouldn't surprise me. My D1 (that you met) had her fence destroyed, trees tore up and her roof damaged a few years back. At first they were saying straight line winds then they finally said it was the remnants of a twister.

What a drag have all of that to deal with while your dad is still recovering.

Not here though. In Kansas.
Wind gusts of 80+ with reports of 100 straight line.
My parents have debris all over to clean up, but the worst is the 2 story timber frame of the new barn.
In splinters.
:ep Yikes! I'm glad they are okay. I hope they can get the barn rebuilt soon.

Sorry about the storm at your folks. That is a real drag. How are you doing with your long list of to dos? Being away can sure set you back on projects fast. I was thinking about what you said earlier about your "hurry up and do list" suddenly getting real long. My list suddenly got longer too. DD is exhibiting at the state fair and DH is flying his mother up for a week. I found out last night and she will be here Wednesday. DD doesn't know. Gotta get the house clean and a menu figured out.

We had 70 mile straight line winds here and it broke telphone poles in half. Thelooked like a giant just snapped em like match sticks. Pretty amazing sight.

Now you got me all paranoid I am going to run out of jars when I make salsa!!

We are doing peach jam tomorrow, and maybe even just some canned peaches, but I'm hoping I have enough bands! :)
