Bubblingbrooks Journey - Salut!

I nursed all three of mine as well...the first one was a trial, and I gave up before I should have...but the next two nursed over a year. You're doing great! And she is one lucky baby to have a mommy like you!

Don't know anything about babies at all except they seem pretty fragile so don't drop one. :D

But sounds like you guys are bonding and all that important stuff! Hoorah :)

Congrats!

*nods wisely* indeed, no dropping. also, no shaking, or staring into it's eyes at 6 am and growling "why won't you just shut up and sleep!!" after having the baby keep you awake all night right before the big biology final. (personal experience on the growling, those lovely commercials teach you about the shaking)

And, congrats again on the lovely child :) If I would have had the money for gas, or had been closer to my sister (geographically speaking, not relationship wise) I would have taken her youngest and made her sign over guardianship until she got her act together instead of having DFS take her.

I had to wake mine up lots when they nursed...got to the point that I would just nurse them to sleep and then lay them in the crib to sleep for the next few hours.

My mother said to put an ice cube against their feet...I personally, think that's mean. It works, but I still think its mean :P

Oh, and I mailed your package today so be on the look out for a big envelope in the next week or so.... :hugs

Well, after 8 hours and only 8 ounces in her, we went back to the bottle.
We wore ourselves out :th
DH and I decided that I will focus on pumping to bring in supply, and then see if that works better.
Meanwhile, she is thriving on the WAPF formula, minus the extra lactose.
Very happy with the change in her, since we got her off the processed stuff.

Hey BB!

Just catching up here...

I'm so happy your baby girl is doing well. :)

As far as that dog is concerned, OMG I would be so angry!

I have heard about Alaska's weird shooting etiquette. I know a man that lives in Alaska ("Yukon Don"-his real name! He had it officially changed) who had some bears come into his house! He shot them and got into deep doo doo trouble. He had a trial and everything. He had to prove he shot them in self defence.

Free: "rotten hooligans" :lau

Thanks BBH! She is doing fantastic!

Shooting to injure is considered abuse, and it does not matter what state you are in.
The bears? Yeah, that is different. You really do have to prove self defense if you did not get hurt. There are very strict hunting rules for big game animals.

:ya I'm happy for you and the family!

But still stuck on that inducing lacataion thing. I'm truly amazed..... :D

A wild bear or two in your house isn't enough hua? It didn't help that he already shot his quota of bear for the year.
